This letter is a testimonial supporting the workmanship and business
ability of Ben Kayhart.
I first met Ben at the Clark County Fair several years ago when he had a
booth set-up advertising his business, Belka Furnishings. In talking with
him that day, he presented himself in a such a positive light, that my wife
and I hired him to create a unique coffee table for our home. The table
was delivered on time and is an heirloom that will likely pass to future
generations of our family.
In early 2003, when I decided to open a restaurant in Neillsville,
Wisconsin's historic downtown, I contacted Ben once again to create unique
casework that would be evocative of the 1940s. I had faith that Ben could
create exactly what I needed, and he didn't let me down! The highback booths
and counter were expertly crafted and have fooled many people into thinking
that the restaurant, now only a year-and-a-half-old, is a beautifully
restored Diner from the World War II era!
Most recently, I hired Ben to create a walnut dining room table ad six chairs
that would compliment a 1920s buffet that once belonged to my wife's
grandparents. In true form, Ben created a masterpiece.
Through all my dealings with Ben, he has consistently presented himself in
a professional, businesslike, friendly manner. And at all times, Ben has
gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I have been completely
satisfied with the timely production and quality of his work.
